Subject 642 (364) JOHN WOOD The New England Historical and Genealogical Society of Boston's Register, Vol 69, page 188, shows that John Wood was of Portsmouth, R.I. His wife's name is unknown. His will mentions children as below:- Issue: - 1. John Wood. To have land now in his possession. 2. Thomas Wood. To have the 40 acres next Robert Spink's land. 3. William Wood. To have lands and house. He married Martha Earle, see subject 666. 4. Margaret Wood. Married Thomas Manchester. See subject 320 for issue and further particu1irs. According to her mother's Will, each of her three brothers were to give her one "ewe goote".
